The mechanics are quick to understands, but the tactics are endless. Had a lot of fun, not much of a story, but the characters you fight have some kinda funny quips.

Calculords is a clever turn-based lane battle strategy game with great pixel art and funny characters to fight. The big problem is that figuring out how to best "spend" your deck of numbers on units is slow and boring, especially because you really need to use ALL of the numbers whenever possible so that you get a bonus set of numbers to use. Most of your time is spent thinking "Okay, I need a 54 to summon those guys, so maybe I can use 8x8-(3+1+6) except I need the 6 to summon those bike guys..." Thats not fun! The math gimmick COULD have worked if you were able to mix and match the number cards into equations freely until you came up with a good solution, but the interface is too clumsy is and forces you to do everything in your head ahead of time.

This is a great game with an intuitive concept. To play your cards, you need to use math operations to use the number cards in your hand to make the desired target to play the card. Well executed and balanced game but not for the casual player.

Gonna still give 5 stars because of the time Ive put in, but since upgrading Ive had a lot of issues with the touch interface. TIME FOR AN UPGRADE DOODZ!

Yes, this is a math game, but its not just edutainment. Anyone whos enjoyed Sudoku knows that numbers can be the raw material for puzzle games just as much as colored beads. Think of Calculords as a card battler where you get to enjoy a number puzzle every turn!

Would freeze mid battle and I couldnt do anything but quit. Happened twice in a row, so I had to bail on this app.

So much that you should place it on your pocket computer and rub it on your face parts. Long time fan of Seanbabys writing, now I am a long time fan of his video game making skills. Its a crime to not own this game.

This game makes me have faith in mobile gaming. The enemies are witty, and there is a level of strategy behind all the BASIC math. I would love a sequel with fractions and imaginary numbers..,,

Calculords may cure/and or cause brain tumors. Do not store Calculords in moist areas. Calculords can be used to swear on in lieu of a bible.

Unique and engrossing. I thought I would just try it, now its all I play. Wonderful job

Really entertaining with great replay value. Ive been playing for months and Im still trying to get my deck right for beating the final boss.

This is truly a great game. However, theres one slightly annoying bug. In fact, it feels like a stupid thing to complain about. But I feel compelled to do so. I tried to buy one of the in-app purchases, to support the developers, and the game crashed. When I relaunched, it said the content was purchased, and in fact its working for me... But I never got charged, which means they presumably never got my money, which means someone at Ninja Crime will have to drink one shot of slightly cheaper whiskey, which is just wrong. Nobody should do math while drunk on slightly cheaper whiskey than they wanted, least of all Seanbaby.

The latest update of 8-22-2014 made the difference I was looking for. It no longer locks up at the tutorial! Woohoo! Lots of added goodies too. This game is excellent for kids to work with numbers, as well as me just wanting good fun at the age of 59. Its a lot of fun manipulating the numbers to come up with whats needed to buy troops. The interface is done really well and the update added widescreen fix. Great game for all ages. iPad 4 with iOS 7.

Love the new version on iPad Air. One glitch that affects game play: frequently and randomly one of the lane choices will go missing, usually at a crucial moment not allowing you to place a card. Please fix to make this true 5 stars.

A fantastic game, I love all of Seanbabys work. One bug in the new version though-using the card "Mutate Bioweapon" (places an explosive mutant in opponents hand that they have to play or lose HP) causes the game to crash. Hopefully this bug gets fixed, since I play the card in triplicate in my deck.

How come we can work with integers but theres no divide button? Negative numbers are a little more advanced than division, I would think anyway.

Pretty addictive with a math twist. Only problem is Cpl Krak makes the game crash when I explode his minions on his base. Weak!!!

Intriguing little MOBA card game with arithmetic engine. Unfortunately its loaded up with Zynga-style in-app purchases, reminding you after every battle that youre only getting 2/3rds of the spoils unless you buy into the games "membership."
